Graphics Technology

Graphics Technology

The Graphics Technology program is designed for students who wish to pursue the dynamic, rapidly-evolving career fields of graphic arts or print production.  Possessing the ability and know-how of the processes and technologies within the graphics industry will open the door for students to potentially discover careers in the areas of marketing and sales.  Additionally, many career opportunities in print production and graphic layout exist as organizations and business search for qualified people to assist in the creation of professional-quality in-house newsletters, brochures, color catalogues, and magazines.  Graphics Technology students will be encouraged to utilize their individual creativity and personality to tailor graphic design and layout projects, while working collectively with classmates to complete both small and large-scale print production assignments.  This program will allow students to work with the most up-to-date Adobe software applications, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver.
