Scholarship Information

 

The following SCVTS Educational Foundation scholarships are available annually to a graduating senior enrolled full-time in a career and technical education program or an academy program and planning to continue their education at a two or four year college or university.  Seniors may apply for these scholarships in May.

  •  Joann Adams Teacher Education Scholarship – $2,000
  • Keith Campbell Educational Scholarship – $1,000
  • Dr. Peter B. Contini Educational Scholarship – $1,000
  • Riccardo DiGiacomo Construction Trades Scholarship – $500
  • Dr. Amante DeCastro Educational Scholarship – $1,000
  • Georges Perrier Culinary Arts Scholarship – $1,000
  • SCVTS Educational Foundation General Scholarship – $2,000
  • John T. Lenahan Educational Scholarship – $1,000
  • PSEG Nuclear Educational Scholarship – $1,000
  • The Thomas Family Scholarship – $1,000
  • Kimberly Desrochers Agricultural Scholarship – Two $500 Scholarships

The Institute of Nursing – Valerie E. Yahn Scholarship

Graduating seniors pursuing a BSN degree at a college or university with a GPA of 2.5 to 4.0 and you have a passion for nursing and exhibit strength of character can apply.  Deadline is January 15, 2014.

School Counts

This is a scholarship program offered by Salem Community College (SCC).  If you achieve the following criteria for every semester for all four years of high school, you are automatically eligible for a full scholarship to SCC.

Criteria:

  • Earn a grade “C” or better in every course
  • Achieve a 95 percent attendance and punctuality record
  • Take more than the minimum graduation requirements
  • Complete high school in four years (eight semesters)
