Certified Nurse Aide in Long-Term Care Facilities
The Certified Nurse Aide in Long-Term Care Facilities Program is a New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services approved training course. The objective of this program is to provide students with basic nurse aide knowledge and skills needed to care for residents and prepare nurse aides to assume the responsibilities of a trained care-giver. A nurse aide candidate must successfully complete the New Jersey curriculum for Nurse Aide in Long-Term Facilities Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP). The program is state mandated for 50 hourse of clinical instruction for a total of 90 hours of instruction.
