CULINARY &
PASTRY ARTS
- Among the program’s primary goals is to strengthen and enhance each student’s technical and interpersonal skills through a considerable amount of theory and practical knowledge of the culinary and hospitality industry.
- Students will have complete access to a fully-equipped kitchen and pastry room facilities where they experience a full-scale culinary operation.
- Opportunity to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts for professional district functions hosted on Salem Tech campus.
- Ability to earn a certification in ServSafe, which is recognized by more federal, state and local health jurisdictions than any other food safety training program in the United States.
- Articulation agreements with Atlantic Cape Community College; Johnson & Wales University; The Culinary Institute of America; and The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College.
